General Rules and Regulations - 2007


1. Daily admission to the Fair is $5.00 per person. Children under 6 are free.

2. Parking is limited at the grounds. A fee of $2.00 will be charged. It would be more convenient if the free shuttle bus were used. It runs continually, from the complex and museum parking lots, also the soccer field at the Pass Creek Park, Saturday and Sunday till 5 P.M.

3. No article may be entered that has previously been exhibited in the Pass Creek Fair.

4. All exhibits must be made or grown by the exhibitor.

5. One entry only per exhibitor in each class number except when other wise stated.

6. All framed paintings; drawings and needlework are to be strung with wire ready for hanging. Drawings are to be ready for hanging or pinning to display board. Follow Rules don’t be disqualified.

7. Home preserves must be in clean, brand named canning jars. New lids and rings are a must. Loosen rings but leave on jars. Lids are to remain sealed. Jams and jellies are NOT to have wax seals, or be freezer preserved.

8. Photos are to be 4” by 6” and mounted on black cardboard or poster board, with a one-inch border for easy handling and display.

9. If you wish to enter an exhibit you have NOT raised or made, the owners name must be put on the entry form in care of you.

10. HOW TO ENTER:( A)—To save time and to prevent line ups please pre register so the tags are processed ahead of time. Additions and deletions on pre registrations may be made at the time of entering. PLEASE TELL THE CLERK THAT YOU HAVE PRE REGISTERED. Make out the entry forms, correctly, one for each person entering, and be sure the forms reach the fair office by September 18th. Mail the forms to Fall Fair Entries, P.O. Box 99, Robson B.C, V0G 1X0.
OR- ( B) Bring your entry forms and exhibits to the Fair Grounds on Relkoff Road Robson, and wait while the entry tags are filled out. One entry form for each EXHIBITOR. Feel free to photocopy the entry form. All exhibits will be received at the fair grounds Wednesday and Thursday September the 19th and 20th from noon to 6 P.M.- Friday the 21st from 12 to 4 P.M. (Closing Time) Items may not be removed until 4:30 P.M. Sunday. NO EXCEPTIONS.

11. Trophies will be awarded to the exhibitor with the highest points-1st 3—2nd 2—3rd 1. The ADULT trophy requires points in FOUR sections. The GRAND AGGREGATE requires points in FIVE sections

12. Seniors please indicate your senior status on the entry form.

13. Place names of family members who have entered the fair on each family members form so the family trophy can be awarded.

14. The winners of the perpetual trophies are to have the trophy engraved with their name and date and returned to the fair office the week of the fair.
