NEW: Qualifying show for 2008 BC Summer Games in Kelowna.
Dressage and Jumpers
Ages: 13-18 as of January 1st 2008. (cannot have attended a previous Summer Games).
Must declare intention to attempt qualification for SGQ on entry.
NEW: Western Heritage and General Performance point classes.
Marked WH or GP. Please indicate on entry form if you are riding for points in these classes.
12th Annual English and Western Horse show September 21, 22, and 23rd 2007.

250- 365-7273. Cheques made payable to Pass Creek Regional Exhibition Society.
No phone entries, no post entries.
Entry Fees: Dressage and all other classes $5.00. NO POST ENTRIES.
Stabling: A limited number of box stalls are available at $6.00 per night. Entries must be accompanied by a $25.00 refundable stall deposit with cheque made out to Pass Creek Regional Exhibition Society.
Refunds: only with a Vet or Doctor’s certificate of inability of horse or rider to compete.
Ribbons: to 6th place.
Prizes: $5.00 - 1st, $3.00 - 2nd, $2.00 – 3rd.
Insurance: A copy of your HCBC insurance must accompany your
entry. If you are not an HCBC member, include $30.00 per child and junior, $40.00
for adult for HCBC insurance.
Age Categories: As of January 1st of current year:

Child – under 13 years
- Junior – under 18 years
- Senior – 18 years and over.

- One entry form for each horse. If there is more than one rider for a
horse, please indicate this on the single entry form.
- 3 horses constitute a class (classes may be cancelled, combined or
divided) depending on entries.
- Trail classes – 5 horses will constitute a class.
- All competitors must wear proper riding boots
and horses must be properly equipped.
- Approved helmets with harness are mandatory in all classes where jumps
are involved.
- Approved helmets with harness are mandatory for child and junior competitors
when mounted and they are strongly recommended for senior competitors.
- Riders using abusive language or mistreating a horse in any way, may at
the discretion of the Show Committee, be disqualified from the show. The
committee may also disqualify any horse which appears ill or lame.
- Horses must be under rider or handler control at all times or they will
be asked to leave the grounds. Stallions must be noted on the entry form
and may NOT be shown by a child or junior.
- Horses not entered in the show will not be allowed on the Exhibition grounds.
Horses are not allowed in the concession area or spectator area.
- Child and Junior competitors must have their entry form signed by a parent
or guardian.
- Any one entering a horse owned by someone else must have the owner's signature
on their entry form.
